On March 21, 2026,the solo exhibition Dante's Cooks by Luo Xi officially opened, presented by BOUNDED SPACE, with curator Sun Yuhang. The exhibition uses Dante's Divine Comedy as a narrative framework and "cooking" as a metaphor, presenting the artist's playful response to contemporary reality.

Luo Xi moved with his parents to St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1999, during the post-Soviet turmoila cold and chaotic cultural experience that forms the foundation of his artistic practice. In response to reality, he employs techniques such as reverse perspective and symbolic collage to juxtapose sacred themes with secular symbols, rejecting refined artistic pretense in favor of secular, violence-tinged, and even grotesque imagery to reinterpret "hell." In Luo Xi's works, each circle of hell becomes a "spiritual dish": absurdity is the appetizer, desire is the main course... all that is solid, sacred, and painful is deconstructed in this mixed stir-fry, revealing the nakedness of human nature and the absurdity of reality.
