Tango Forte

'Tango Forte' is a painting that takes the premise of the grass paintings that has been allowed to grow wild. A plethora of invented vegetative forms have now grown up amongst the simple monocot blades of grass. The painting language, which was germinated in the single stroke paintings of grass, has now exploded into life. Marks have been grafted, hybridised and cross pollinated, to produce a bio-diverse language which creates a new world, futuristic, alien and strangely familiar all at once.
