In my work, temporality and personal willpower are of paramount importance. My art focuses not on the outcome, but on the process. The works are created through my own prolonged, repetitive laborious actions. The accumulation of dense time, tenacious and sustained willpower, and a calm mindset run through all my creations. This ascetic-like creative experience reveals how one can concentrate the mind in such a complex and ever-changing world, completing a dialogue between time and life. It also hints at the possibilities and traces of individual existence. The works attempt to express the coexistence between order and disorder, the infinite and the finite, constraint and freedom, process and result, calmness and unease.
