Misha Gudwin

Born on 1995 in Voronezh, Russia

Misha Gudwin is an artist and curator. He was born in Voronezh, Russia (1995) and now lives and works in Paris.
Began his creative journey in 2010 as a graffiti artist, later defining his areas of interest within the frameworks of contemporary art and street art. Graduated from the BAZA Institute of Contemporary Art in 2021.

In his work, he explores the interaction between urban and digital environments. He often works with found objects that reflect the industrial nature of the urban landscape. Strange and non-obvious dialogues between forms and meanings are a distinctive feature of Misha Gudwin's work.

Misha Gudwin has participated in various exhibitions and residencies, including solo exhibitions at the "Voskhod" gallery in Basel, Switzerland, and at Edicola Radetzky gallery in Milan, Italy. He also gives lectures on street art and contemporary art. His projects are often featured in various online aggregators and platforms on contemporary art, such as Ofluxo, Kubaparis, Tired Mass, and others.

He is a co-founder of the artist-run exhibition space “Emergency Space” in Paris, and formerly co-founder of the cultural center “DaiPyat” in Voronezh and the project “IP Vinogradov” in Moscow.
