Lin Zhi

Lin Zhi was born in 1988 in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China. He lived and worked in Bangkok, Thailand from 2013 to 2020 and currently lives and works in Guangzhou. His paintings often center on the figure of “ONE CHILD,” embodying the artist’s perception of life across time and space, as well as his ongoing exploration of the principles governing the operation of things. Through a careful control and selection of pictorial elements and brushstrokes, his works reflect the plurality of social wills and forms while reconstructing the roots of belief. Rather than seeking definitive answers or fixed meanings, Lin Zhi’s paintings invite viewers into a state of becoming, offering a quiet resonance grounded in the experience of pure painting.
