Wang Dong Han

Wang Dong Han is a Korean new media artist born in Beijing in 1997. He completed his undergraduate studies in Art and Technology at the School of Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Media at the University of the Arts Bremen in Germany. He’s work explores olfactory and gustatory art through the use of technology and interactive media, engaging with interdisciplinary fields including—but not limited to—biology, botany, and ecology.


His works have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum, the Korean Cultural Center, the 2022 Wuhan Biennale, the inaugural Venice Metaverse Art Annual Exhibition, Youth Art 100, and the Beijing Art & Technology Biennale 2024. He has received the Special Recommendation Award at the Central Academy of Fine Arts Digital Image Art Festival, First Prize at the CAFA Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition, and the Graduation Design First Prize.


In addition to creating art, he has served as the technical coordinator for international exhibitions such as the Beijing Art & Technology Biennale, the Guangzhou Design Triennial – Bonds of Care, and the iCUBE Museum – “I Want to See What You See.”
