The "Reversal Series" works focus on the changes in the tracks on vinyl records, generating rhythm and diversity within an orderly structure. It is a state that is both restrained and expressive. The variations in the particles on the tracks are very similar to the state in the "wave-particle duality" experiment, where "energy" propagates in the form of "particles forming waves". And those brilliant "waves" reflect positive and energetic forces!

Artist's Statement:
Leayoung's practice encompasses multiple media including photography, digital output, and easel painting. The "pointillist" approach in his work is a digital translation of images. Through the analysis and rendering of atmosphere, specific information is blurred. In fact, it is through "scenery, objects, and people" that he conveys the mental state and emotions of contemporary people. This visual "distance" reflects the isolation of individual emotions.
